I hesitated before choosing to publish this as it is not a style of theme you would normally find here on my blog. However it does speak a very sensitive reality. Here’s my Cinderella….
Cinderella found her Prince
To him the Child born
Without much time in between
The second came along
Time went on
The Prince worked hard
Cinderella was at home
With castle help
Her beckon call
Freedom left to roam
She had heaven here on earth
Story book
Come True
Soon it wasn’t quite enough
So her heart
Found something new
Cindi met the pauper’s son
Younger, eager
Down to earth
He told her
He would be her Prince
And promised her rebirth
Adventure, love
A getaway
From princess stress she knew
She packed her treasures in a chest
Bid family
Adieu
But all was not
What it seemed to be
For pauper had a lie
He had a family of his own
Some secrets you can’t hide
He’d share his love between his wives
To both he would be true
This poor young man needed that
Understand
She would, he knew
Time went by
The story old
New Prince not by her side
She traded all for youth and looks
She ended up with lies
So she lost it all
Life Prince and kids
Castle door was locked
Inside her shell
She chose to live
Not answering a nock
Heartache pain
The pauper caused
A life she once adored
That blood she bled on that last day,
That blood, Dear Sir,
Was yours
Very sad, and happens all to often

It does. That is why I risked posting it. I’m a girls mommy (3) btw…I always said I could have 20 and there would never be a boy 🙂

Yeah i know what you mean, there has only been one girl born in my husbands family in the past hundred years, she was our only daughter and she is no longer with us, march 26 was her birthday she would have been 6 years old.
