  1. Your poem was stunning and beautiful. It brought so many emotions and memories at once that I had to read it a few times to feel the full impact of the words without the interruption of those memories. Sleep has always been too little and my dreams too vivid; but, I look forward to it and even those memories turned to dreams that cause me to scream and fight my pillow and sheets can’t keep me away from my desire to find a long and deep sleep.

    • It is most interesting to see what slips through…if we embrace it as “stored”, we can work to eliminate it. Thank you, Dear Willy, the time for the read and the personal insight that matches my thoughts and words…blessed be your night ;)—–with appreciation, H.

  2. Reblogged this on Survivors Blog Here and commented:
“Night,” from Heather’s Starting End, made me think a lot about how our mind dreams and seeks balance for our waking hours. Did you know that nightmares are caused by the rapid onset of REM sleep. This usually happens when we are very tired and sleep deprived. When we are burdened with emotions and sleep evades us, we are more likely to have vivid and startling dreams. Rest, dream well and check out Heather’s wonderful website.
