As the little young girl

Danced all about

One sock down

3 teeth out

With her teddy bear Partner

She’d twist and Shout

Carefree and limber

Not a worry about

Teddy got dizzy

He fell to the floor

“No time for that”

And took him for more

Teddy the champion of the day

Allowed to be

Swayed and swayed

Years go by

She’s back on the floor

Dressed in high heels

Wanting more

No longer Teddy

By her side

But a beautiful man

Who in rhythm she strides

In place of teddy

Her Partner in Crime

Stands a new Partner

 Her love divine
