We are all out here
The same different kind
Writers, Poets
And Loves got us blind
Words on a page
Shot from the heart
Scrambles our head
Love both whole
And apart
Love spun into colors
Compared to the moon
That some last forever
But most die
Too soon
We’re all out there
One of the same
Finding fresh stanzas
That put it to blame
For destroying our minds
While breaking our hearts
Stopping our world
Dreams crushed
Falln’ apart
One of the same
All out there we are
Finding new stanzas
As ones not yet scarred
We have Day waking beauty
Our hearts are complete
We’re Lovers at work
Constructing our dreams
So whether loves withered
Searing with pain
Or alive like a song
Sung in joyous refrain
Writers and Poets
We drown in that word
The word of love
That so begs to be heard
