I
Have
Never been
As numb as I am
Right now
Today

I
Have
Never been
So detached
Ripped up
Afraid

I
Have
Never felt
Such a loss while
Still being
Whole

I
Have
Hurt the one
I love, I doubted
His very
Soul

I
Now beg
For Todays rain
To please come wash
Hurt and pain
Away
.
