Even camels need water
Mother Theresa
Love
Endless journey
Oh heavens above
To give and accompany a whole life long
Questioning never how to be strong
I question you now
As my river runs dry
Thirsty camel
Love gone by
Where’s my next step
In the sands of time
Is it ego or heart
That gives me the sign
That the path I will follow
Includes my right
Not to thirst for the water
Be loves oversight
I see clearer now
With sand in my eyes
This desert storm
To my surprise
Dried up my heart
And disabled my tears
I see clearer now
After so many years
A victim of whirlwind
A fault of my own
This love thirsty camel
Wants to go home

Air is home for a bird in flight
As Earth the home for trees
Water a splendor for life of its’ own
And You are the fire in me
You are my Home
My earth
My air
My Fire
Our love water
In which we swim
I profess my love to you right now
Pray tell how to begin
To express what is right
Forego what is wrong
Keep fire in your heart
Your touch
As air soars a bird in the sky
Your love
As earth roots the trees
You’re my fire
My Home
My Earth, Air and Water
You’re everything to me

Mask of morning fog
Covers the rays of breaking sun
Mask of a smile
Covers the residue of broken dreams
Disguises both ways
Distorts what may be
A manipulated state so real you’ll believe
The sun still shines just not in our eyes
The residue of pain not healed
Switch the perception
View from a new side
Then see the truth
That these masks don’t reveal
This Rispetto Poetry Challenge comes at a nice time.
My Twins are Seventeen Today. Happy Birthday, Girls. This ones for you!
Motherhood comes to my door
Imagine the glory within
Indescribable feelings soar
Announcing birth of twins
Seventeen years later to this day
Into womanhood I watch them sway
Filled with life and dreams to dare
While growing wings to take them there

You wanna go
You wanna stay
You want the pain
to fade away
You wanna laugh
You only cry
Why can’t this time
Just fade on by
You had enough
You had your fill
Sit back relax
Take a pill
Your body’s weak
Your head is stone
Catapulted Mind
Find your way home
Sun kiss my shoulders
Block this cold within
Next chapter of life
begs to begin
You wanna go
You wanna stay
You want your life
To find its way
Photos of places I wish I could go
Tall hills of green where a river below flows
Scenes of beauty I wish I could paint
Mix of earth colors skilled hand to create
Pieces of clothing I wish I could sew
Vintage lace style of time long ago
I wish
I wish
You wish just like me
You have scenes in your mind
of places to see
You look to the sky to charter your path
You beg to the Heaven for exclusion of wrath
You find yourself through your thoughts of the day
Of wishes you choose to make life worth your stay
Because after all that’s what Dreamers do
We wish
and we wish
Till we make it come true
I witnessed the Dance of unscathed hearts
Youthful, new found love
Profoundly sweet, uninhibited dreams
nary an inkling they’d grow apart
Dreaming of love so ever serene
as they gaze past their teenage years
Into a future not blinded
by sight of finale
that ends with shedding tears
I witnessed the Dance that came to the end
I witnessed a Dance devine
I witnessed a love familiar to me
a love like once was mine
So come as you are
first love of our lives
don’t know there’s a time to go
For as long as you’re here
our world will be right
as first pain we will not yet know

To cross a bridge, a river, a road
Or just to cross a line
To close the past behind you now
For new life, new love, new time
If one leg lags
And will not join
The other on the way
If your mind can’t lose the heavy load
In the past then you will stay
For those in front will not wait
If your soul is somewhere old
Move forward both feet on the ground
That’s how the story’s told
It can’t be kept a secret,
When it’s seen in a mans eyes
A women always knows the truth
Of where his real love lies

Mother Nature befriends me
Pretending she‘s Spring
In January, pray tell
Let me ask just one thing:
Has she thrown out of tune
The trees, birds and cold air
Just so that I
Could escape winters glare
Of late day darkness
When sun loses fight
Sets down below
For the bitter of night
Crystal blue is the sky
Lady yellow shines through
Warmth all around
Morning has dew
It’s all wrong
It’s all off
The season has changed
I doubt natures happy
stuck in winters refrain
I won’t tell the Trees, the birds
Not a thing
We’ll whisper them back
In time for true Spring
From Poets Corner, a brilliant piece of work that will make you think more than twice of just how well the imagination works with expressive, descriptive poetry.

From Dianna Rasmussen, a favorite blogger of mine anyway, whos piece on “cutting” I read as profound, heart touching and necessary of a socially worthy reblog.
This was my first visit to Cyclettas blog. I found this on the Reader and must say, I wish I saw my life as the Bumblebees a long time ago. Nice inspirational twist.
How do we break down a day
How does it add up to a life
At times a day is forever
Glad to bid the sun farewell
Joyful times a day knows no end
Our sun seems to shine forever
Just why are the darkest hours the longest
Is it sadness weighing the hands of time?
Why the happiest are so short, almost hard to grasp hold of
Ticking as we chase it from behind
Does a happy life go by quicker?
Is a sad life slower to come to an end?
When we rise and we retire to the same Sun
Just how can our clocks be so different then
